The system, as the developer describes it
The official description makes tools the heart of progression: "Buy better tools and upgrade their power!" That sentence establishes three facts:
- You buy tools — there is a purchase system, so the game has an economy (its currency and prices are not documented yet).
- You upgrade power — tools get stronger, letting you melt bigger or thicker ice.
- Better tools unlock progress — the melt-carve-uncover loop scales with your equipment.

- Every tool between the hairdryer and the flame tool
- Prices for each tool and upgrade tier
- What "power" upgrades numerically (melt speed, melt range, or both)
- Whether upgrades are per-tool or account-wide
- The "Classes" tag — what classes/loadouts exist (official tag, undocumented)
While the numbers are pending, the practical advice from the sourced loop stands: melt with what you have, buy your first upgrade as soon as the game lets you, and keep upgrading along the beginner walkthrough's path.
